Who Should Apply

Planting a church is a challenging but rewarding task, and not everyone is called to it. 

We help new church planters and existing churches explore a future in church planting with Acts 29 and set them up on a successful, stage-appropriate track, as outlined below. 

Assessment Tracks

Acts 29 offers the following two assessment tracks:

Church Planter Assessment

  • For those who have planted in the past 18 months or are going to plant in the next 12-18 months.
  • Applicants must be formally affirmed by their local church, and with a minimum of three years of ministry experience.
  • Includes 14 online assignments and an assessment conference.

Existing Church Assessment

  • For those who lead an existing church that wants to join Acts 29 to see more churches planted.
  • Applicants must be an elder in a local church with a minimum of three years of ministry experience,
  • Includes 10 online assignments, followed by an on-site church assessment.
