Eddie Williams was a star athlete through high school and college. He played NFL football for five years before injuries caused his career to come to an end. But that didn’t leave Eddie in a crisis of identity; he knew just what God had for him next—church planting. Having grown up in San Francisco, he also knew where he was supposed to plant that church, and moved with his family back “home” a few years ago to start this journey. Bay City Church is in an area of San Francisco that needs what can be offered by the family atmosphere of a church, and so they are planting with that goal in mind.
