General Description
The Global Project Assistant will handle a wide range of administrative-related tasks for the Vice President for Global. This person must be exceedingly well-organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a high-level, executive-minded leader. Must be technologically savvy, with high capability to effectively communicate through various platforms and in various contexts. The Project Assistant must have the ability to interact with all levels of organizational staff and across international contexts remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and spiritual maturity.

The outcome of this role is increasing and ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of the Global division of Acts 29 and its contribution to the overall worldwide church planting mission of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:

  • Manage communication and tasks related to the cooperative work of the Global Regional directors, as coordinated by the Vice President for Global.
  • Plan and facilitate events both in-person and virtual. Ensure accurate documentation and dissemination of key discussions and action items.
  • Facilitate collaboration between the Communications department and communications needs for Global regions.
  • Provide comms resources, translations, and other support.
  • Ensure Global region data in Salesforce and The Portal is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Coordinate with administrative assistants in Global Regions to identify needs and opportunities.
  • Manage and execute short-term, once-off, ad hoc projects that arise periodically, ensuring effective project management and timely completion.
  • Coordinate travel logistics for the department, including planning, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth travel experience, optimizing time and resources for the department.
  • Manage reimbursements efficiently, streamlining the process and providing support to team members, contributing to financial transparency and accountability.
  • Support content development for talks, workshops, and other resource needs such as providing research assistance, creating slideshows, etc.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with church planting  and missional movements and organizations

Standard Requirements

  • Travel: Overnight travel required at times.
  •  Policies: Must adhere to Acts 29’s Handbook, Statement of Faith, Information Security Policy, and any additional policies required of Acts 29 staff.
  • Equipment: Must return any Acts 29-purchased equipment upon termination.
  • Support: Must utilize Acts 29’s data, financial, and communication policies systems for Acts 29 operations.
