Drilling Deeper. Reaching Wider. Planting Churches
The call for us to stretch out our arms to connect with the gospel cause around the world is both daunting and exhilarating. We are part of a diverse. global family and our desire is to reach wider, planting churches in every dark corner of the globe.
The horizon should never be far from our gaze, but our focus must also be on the context where the Lord has placed us. We are where we are for a reason, and that reason is to make Christ known. The primary way we do that is through planting churches around the city, in the burbs, out in the boroughs and into the surrounding towns and villages. We are all about drilling deeper into our own contexts. Looking for those places in our city where Christ is not known. Identifying the people groups and sub-groups who have little or no access to either the Lord or his people.
There should be something insatiable about our desire to litter our local communities and our world with communities of light. There should be something inexhaustible about our commitment to penetrate deep into the darkness with the truth and joy that is the gospel of Christ.
