Francisco began his ministry as a teenager and has preached in several countries around the world during the last 20 years. He is the lead pastor of Casa de Libertad in Guatemala City and has a passion to reach others with the gospel through church planting as the Global Regional Director of Acts 29 Latin America. He lives in Guatemala with his wife Carol and his four children.
Flower Mound, TX
Matt Chandler is a husband, father, pastor, elder, and author whose greatest desire is to make much of Jesus. He has served over 20 years as the Lead Pastor at The Village Church in Flower Mound, TX which recently transitioned its five campuses into their own autonomous churches. He is also the Executive Chairman of the Acts 29 Board.
Matt is known around the world for proclaiming the gospel in a powerful and down-to-earth way and enjoys traveling to share the message of Jesus whenever he can. He lives in Texas with his beautiful wife Lauren and their three children, Audrey, Reid, and Norah.
Fort Worth, TX
Jim Essian planted The Paradox Church in Downtown Fort Worth, TX, in 2011 and serves as Lead Pastor. He is the author of four books: Send: Loving Your Church by Praying, Giving, and Going, Anchored: A Theological Vision for the Local Church, Jesus For You: He Became Like You So You Could Become Like Him, and
Like Father, Like Sons: Meditations on God as our Father. Jim played eight years of professional baseball in the Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Detroit Tigers organizations, prior to planting a church. Jim and his wife, Heather, have three girls, Harper Grace, Hollis Jane, and Hadden Faith.

J.D. is the pastor of The Summit Church in Raleigh-Durham, NC, the author of several books and the founder of J.D. Greear Ministries. He also is the pastor of Summit Life, a daily broadcast and weekly TV program, and the Ask the Pastor podcast.
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
Brian Howard has over 30 years of proven leadership experience as an executive coach, non-profit executive, church planter, lead pastor, consultant, and business owner. He has successfully started multiple businesses and several non-profit organizations and is in his fifth year as the President of Acts 29. Brian has coached thousands of leaders as the founder of Context Coaching and has worked as an organizational consultant across a wide range of industries. Brian holds a Master's degree from Talbot School of Theology and is an adjunct professor. Brian is also a doctoral student working toward a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership. Brian has been married for 30 years, has four adult children, and lives in Southern California.

Steve Bang Lee is grateful to teach God's Word, equip leaders, and shepherd God's people as a Teaching Pastor, Lead Pastor (North Irvine), and Regional Multiplication Pastor at Mariners Church in Southern California. He has been happily married for 16 years to his best friend Angela and is a proud father to Isaiah, Elizabeth, Aaron, and Ezra. Bang (as some call him) enjoys writing down his thoughts as an inconsistent blogger (stevebanglee.com) and is an author of two published resources through the Rooted Network: On the Table: Questions Confronting the Christian Faith and Image of God: A Holy Design for Human Dignity.

Joby Martin is the founder and lead pastor of The Church of Eleven22 in Jacksonville, Florida. Since launching the church in 2012, he has led a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to providing The Church of Eleven22 with vision and leadership, Pastor Joby is an author, national and international preacher and teacher. He has been married to his wife, Gretchen, for over 20 years and they have a son, JP and a daughter, Reagan.

Jamin Roller is Lead Pastor of Citizens Church in Plano, Texas. He and his wife, Carrie, have three children. Jamin loves the local church, being with his family, and cheering for Dallas sports.

Sam Allberry is the Associate Pastor at Immanuel Nashville. Ryan Baitzel is a husband, father of 5, follower of Christ, and lead pastor at Emergence Church. Emergence Church was planted as an independent church in December 2011 and in that time has grown to 3 campuses, with 2000 plus weekly attenders across Northern NJ.
Little Rock, AR
A thought-leading writer and recognized champion of the Multiethnic Church Movement, Mark planted the Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas in 2001 where he continues to serve as directional leader. In 2004, he co-founded the Mosaix Global Network with Dr. George Yancey, and today serves as its CEO/president.
Mark has written seven books including The Coming Revolution in Church Economics (Baker, 2019) and Building a Healthy Multi-Ethnic Church (Jossey-Bass, 2007). He is a columnist and contributing editor at Outreach magazine, and directs the Mosaix Institute at Wheaton College Billy Graham Center.

Adam is married to Kristen, and they have two children. He has been a pastor for over 25 years and has a doctorate from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Columbia. Adam loves anything outdoors: surfing, fly fishing, and hunting. He came into Acts 29 when he planted The Crossing Church, and currently serves as Vice President of Church Planting for Acts 29, and as a pastor at The Church of Eleven22.
Midlothian, TX
Dave Hanson and his wife Kathy founded Decorator’s Warehouse in 1989, transforming it from a living room operation into the largest Christmas store in Texas. Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Dave has served as an elder at Stonegate Church, has the gift of faith, and is deeply invested in seeing churches (and church planters) flourish. He’s passionate about church planting and, with over 40 years of real estate experience, has partnered with dozens of churches to help them find their home base for their mission.

Matthew has been in pastoral ministry for over 30 years. He is the founder and lead pastor at The Well since 2015 in the DFW area. Previously, Matthew was a University Pastor at several churches in the Southeast U.S. He has been married for the last 30 years to Jennifer, and they have two children and two grandchildren. Matthew holds a PhD and DMin. in Historical Theology and Church Leadership.

Rodney planted Stonegate Church in 2009, a thriving church on the south side of Dallas. He's been deeply vested in church planting, sending multiple church planters across the DFW area and beyond. He has over 20 years of ministry experience and loves to leverage that experience to serve pastors and planters. He's married to Laura, his bride of over 20 years, and they have three children.

After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill in 1997, Tyler and his wife Kimberly moved to Raleigh, where they now continue loving their city with their three kids. Tyler planted Vintage Church in the fall of 2002, which has now grown to five locations in the Triangle. Serving in a myriad of leadership roles with Acts 29 since 2003, he is driven by his passion for planting and growing churches to advance the gospel across the US and the world.

Harry Li, PhD, is the Senior Pastor of Mosaic Church • Little Rock where he has served for over 22 years. He has a heart for bringing some 30 nations together, and building a multiethnic, economically diverse church in an under-resourced, urban setting. He regularly provides Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Training for a variety of faith-based educational institutions, houses of worship, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Harry has a heart for prayer ministry; having led a citywide prayer movement in Little Rock and facilitating many worship-based prayer retreats for pastors, churches and ministries. Harry and his wife, Melanie, reside in Little Rock.

Jeanine Martínez de Urrea currently serves as Director of the Reforma Institute and a deacon at Iglesia Reforma in Guatemala where she was sent by International Baptist Church from her native Dominican Republic. She worked for more than 10 years as a civil engineer before serving a cross-cultural missionary, with a focus on biblical teaching, missionary training, and discipleship, in South and East Asia, Australia and Latin America. She is passionate about making disciples of Christ of all nations, through the study and teaching of the Bible, book by book. Jeanine has a Master of Science in Theological Studies from the Southern Baptist Seminary (SBTS), and another Master of Science in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (INTEC). She likes to cook, listen to music, and meet people from different cultures. She is happily married to Alex after being single for 41 years.

One, his wife Confidence, and their two daughters live in Pretoria, South Africa. He leads Rooted Fellowship, a gospel-centered, disciple making, and transcultural church, planted from a partnership with LIG.punt and Bryanston Bible Church. One’s desire is to see more churches planted in Pretoria and beyond.

Jason Shepperd planted Church Project, a Church of House Churches, in 2010 in The Woodlands, TX. Jason has also started and oversees Church Project Network, House Church Network, GOOD CITY, START WITH 7 and GOOD GOD GOSPEL.
League City, TX
Bruce Wesley is the founding and Lead Pastor of Clear Creek Community Church in League City, TX, and the co-founder and President of the Houston Church Planting Network. Bruce and his wife, Susan, invest in three key areas for community transformation: planting churches, strengthening marriages, and raising up leaders for the church of tomorrow. They have three married daughters and a growing number of incredible grandchildren.

Located in the heart of the central business hub of Irving, Texas, the stunning Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas is a premiere meeting destination in North Texas and the surrounding Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan region.
Attendees can fly into the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL). Depending on traffic, DFW is only about a 10-minute drive to the Convention Center. You do not need to attend or lead an Acts 29 church to attend the Acts 29 Conference! We look forward to welcoming all pastors, church staff, and church leaders to the conference. Do I need to be a part of an Acts 29 church to attend the conference?
All registration is non-refundable but transferable. If you cannot attend the conference, you can substitute your registration with another individual at no extra cost. Can I cancel or transfer my registration?
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is about eight miles from the Irving Convention Center. Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) is about 10 miles from the Irving Convention Center.What airport should I fly into?
We recommend using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, but you can rent a car. Many restaurants are within walking distance from the convention center.Should I rent a car during the conference?

The Irving Convention Center has two parking garages. We recommend parking in the North Garage, which is closest to the convention center. The South Garage is next to the Westin, just across the street. The current parking rate is $15 per car per day, with NO in-and-out (if a car leaves and returns on the same day, payment is due every time you enter the garage). There are additional independent parking structures within walking distance due South of convention center at the Toyota Music Factory and at the Urban Towers.Where should I park during the conference?
